How are your Vinyl Shutters made?
The parts for our Custom Vinyl Shutters are a combination of injection-molded and extruded. The shutters are made with a multi-piece assembly, using electrostatic welding and stapling. This process allows us to provide the most extensive selection of sizes, colors, and configurations. Our Premier One-Piece Vinyl Shutters are 100% injection-molded.
Can I Custom Paint the custom exterior shutters?
We offer a paint-able version of all our products, all you need to do is request color #049 – Paint-able. Our color-through products are not able to be painted. There are products on the market that claim to be able to paint plastic shutters, but we have not done any testing to verify their claims.
What type of surfaces can shutters be installed on?
Our Exterior Shutters can be installed on almost any type of surface using either our shutter spikes (vinyl) or shutter screws (metal, painted-head). See all of our Installation Instructions.
